Karol has over 30 years of experience in open-cut iron ore and gold mining management, production, and planning environments, including technical expertise in equipment selection, cost estimation and financial evaluation, pit and dump optimisations and designs, and computerised mine planning and scheduling.
He has experience as Superintendent of Mine Engineering and Technical Services and extensive experience as a Lead Competent Person (CP/QP) for preparing reports on Ore Reserves under JORC and SEC rules and Ore Reserves and Mine Planning risk assessment under SOX.
Karol’s open cut experience includes Australia, South America, West Africa, and Europe, with working experience in gold and iron ore, as well as projects-based consulting experience with bauxite, phosphate, silica, gold and silver, iron ore, copper, nickel, lithium, lead and zinc, PGM deposits, with projects located in Australia, South America, Africa, FSU and Southeast Europe.
